Who Was Abigail?

Narcissism in the bible

I Samuel 25 introduces us to Nabal and his wife Abigail.

We read a story of a cruel and self-centered man, Nabal, and his wife, Abigail, who exhibits a level of empathy that we should all strive towards.

Nabal's narcissistic behavior brought about the displeasure of David and nearly got him killed. Abigail stepped in without hesitation and made peace with David and his men. She was humble yet bold.

Abigail stayed true to who she was despite her time in a toxic relationship, and that is what I pray for you. Despite the hardship of your journey, you must stay true to who you are. Do not allow this trial (literal or metaphorical) to change you.
